Dr. Andrew Kim M.D., is a Harvard trained, board certified psychiatrist and principal investigator in FDA clinical research trials. Background & Experience

Dr. Kim is from the Chicago area and is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He trained in psychiatry at the Harvard residency program in Boston, MA, and completed a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He worked at AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in the suburbs of Chicago before transitioning into becoming a principal investigator in psychiatric clinical research studies. Dr. Kim has been involved in over 70 FDA pharmaceutical clinical trials and continues to collaborate on depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, postpartum depression, ptsd and addiction trials as a principal investigator. He has collaborated with advocacy groups such as NAMI, local schools, and national conferences to help educate, motivate, and raise awareness about mental health as a public speaker.
